Geithner: We can afford $50 billion more stimulus spending
Charlie Spiering - Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner yesterday explained that the Obama administration needed $50 billion in additional stimulus spending.
“It’s good for the economy because, again, it makes the businesses more competitive, gets more Americans back to work, Geithner insisted. “It’s something we can afford.”
